Hi all I am moving to blogger. This website will expire in October. It was fun but not in the budget and Blogger is free. I know wordpress is a s well; however, I want to reduce logins which is a common theme where I work as well.

So I have been back to working out for the last couple of weeks. Been going to gym regularly (Sure helps that Mrs. tripolii wants to go to the gym again) and started P90X again this week. Kinda depressing how much my strength has deteriorated and weight has increased over last 2 years. See weight below from when I was tracking calories (and weight):
Sep 07 – 178 lbs
Jan 08 – 179
Feb 08 – 174
Apr 08 – 174
Apr 09 – 178
Dec 08 – 182
Just proves what isnt measured isnt managed for me. It would be nice to just eat and not count calories and maintain my weight; however, I dont seem to be able to do that. So I am back to counting calories again as well.
Ok TTFN (TaTa for Now – watching to much Winnie the Pooh with the 2 year old

It doesnt make much sense to Blog about working out when you are not working out. After the last post, which was a brick, both heels lit up nd my knee got sore at the beginning of October. As a result, I decided to take some time off to allow the heels to heal. So everything is starting to feel better. Mrs. Tripolii and I are going to a yoga class tomorrow to try to start getting back into the groove. More starting tomorrow.

My heel has been really hurting. I believe that I have a high tolerance for pain but this has been crazy bad. I started trying to do research on the net and unbelievably found almost instant relief in the form of athletic tape. I did start trying to tape my heel and fond a little relief. However, found the link below and this taping made a HUGE difference.

So thank you heelspurs.com for the information. It has made a big difference. I am almost back to normal after a month of having a significant heel pain.
Now the outstanding confusion is the other changes that I made in terms of new shoes, new orthotics and using ibuprofen cream. So I have violated scientific principles and changed too many things at once so I don’t know how all of these items interacted to make my heel better. But I do know the taping had a significant impact.

While my knee surgery seems to be successful, I am now experiencing IT band problems on that same knee. Even worse the hot spot on my other heel has turned into a continuous pain across the bottom of most of my foot. I have switched orthotics (at the advice of the doctor) which seems to be the thing that has made this so much worse. I am open to any suggestions to fix. Swimming seems to help but I don’t really have time to swim.
This is very frustrating as it seems to be a step forward and 2 steps back.

Does anyone know how to find out how many walking miles in a theme park specifically Sea World, Animal Kingdom or Disney?

I had my first ride since the scope yesterday. It was short, but it felt great. I am not really allowed to run until approximately July 18th (a month after surgery). My biggest fear is that I will try to do to much to fast. I am going for a ride again tonight as long as thunderstorms hold off. Could also do recumbent if it rains. It is really great to be exercising again with minimal pain.
